What the maker does with your text

Nothing leaves your browser. The title card is drawn locally with the HTML canvas API. Your text, colours and settings are never sent to a server, and there is no account or login.

What is stored on your device

Your last-used settings (text, style, font, colours, sizes), so they are there when you come back.
Any PNG or WebP files you upload as custom emoji. These are stored in your browser's local storage on this device only.

You can clear all of it at any time by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings.

Fonts

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When the page loads, your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and standard request headers. See Google Fonts privacy.

Hosting

The site is served by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for a short period to operate the service. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Analytics and advertising

The maker may show ads served by third-party advertising partners such as Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. If privacy-friendly analytics are added, they will be cookie-free and will not identify you.

Donations

The Ko-fi "buy me a coffee" link goes to a third-party site with its own privacy policy. This site never sees your payment details.

The built-in emoji artwork is the iOS-style pack from OnlineWebFonts, used under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
