Reels hook checker
Paste the line you want on the first frame of your Reel. The checker reads it the way a scrolling viewer
does: is it short, does it start on the point, is it clear who it's for. It runs in your browser and nothing you type
leaves the page.
Your hook
So in today's episode we talk about a few things Stop doing this if you want more clients POV: you finally post the clip Why your Reels stop at 200 views? Day 1 vs day 100 of posting every day
What it checks, and why
Length. About 9 words or fewer, two short lines. People decide in the first seconds, and the card has to be read in that time.
Warm up words. "So", "hey guys", "in this episode", "episode 145". They spend the first second on nothing. Start on the point.
Vague words. "Tips", "things", "stuff". Name the exact thing, or put a number on it.
Who it's for. A "you" or a POV makes the viewer the subject. Stories can skip it, but the viewer still has to see themselves in it.
Readability. No full lines in capitals, no hashtags on the card, one "?" or "!" at most.
These are rules of thumb from the guides on this site, not a prediction of views. A clear line on the
right first frame is still the job. Need a line first? Try the Reels hook generator . Next: Reels hook text guide , Reels safe zone ,
